Beef Sustainably Produced

Our cooperative of small family farms believes that animals raised on pasture produce the tastiest, healthiest meats, all while protecting soil and water resources and providing wildlife habitat through sustainable management practices. We care about that because we live here in Wisconsin, too! 

Our livestock comes from Wisconsin family farms all across the state. Our animals are naturally-produced without synthetic growth hormones, GMOs or antibiotics. Our farm family members, who own and operate the Wisconsin Grass-fed Beef Cooperative, care about the environment and humanely managing their animals to produce the best quality products. 

WE PLEDGE: 

  • No GMOs 
  • Sustainable, ecologically regenerative farming practices 
  • Humanely-raised cattle that always have access to the outdoors, pasture, clean water, and fresh air 
  • 100% grass-fed and NO confinement feedlots 
  • Calves are left with their mothers to nurse and learn natural grazing and social behaviors 
  • Low-stress handling methods which make for calmer, healthier livestock 
  • Environmental stewardship and ecologically-based farming practices that improve soil and water quality
